The manufacturer, or supplier, shall inspect and maketests necessary to verify that the product furnished conforms tothe requirements prescribed in the product specification.Source inspection of the product by the purchaser shallbe agreed upon between the manufacturer, or supplier, and thepurchaser as part of the purchase order. In which case,thenature of the facilities needed to satisfy the inspector repre-senting the purchaser that the product is being furnished inaccordance with the product specification shall be included inthe agreement.All tests and the inspection shall be conducted so as not to interfere unnecessarily with the operations of theworks.When mutually agreed upon，final inspection shall beconducted simultaneously by the manufacturer or supplier andpurchaser.Rejection: Product that fails to conform to the requirements ofthe product specification when inspected or tested by thepurchaser or purchaser’s agent shall be rejected. Rejection shall be reported to the manufacturer orsupplier promptly and in writing.In case of dissatisfaction with results of test uponwhich rejection was based,the manufacturer or supplier,attheir option, shall make claim for a rehearing.
As a result of product rejection, the manufacturer orsupplier has the option to make a claim for a retest to beconducted by the manufacturer or supplier and the purchaser. Ifneeded，samples of the rejected product shall be taken inaccordance with the product specification and tested by bothparties as directed in the specification， or， alternatively,uponagreement by both parties,an independent laboratory,whennecessary, shall be selected for the tests using the test methodsprescribed in the product specification.When specified in the contract or purchase order, thepurchaser shall be furnished certification that samples repre-senting each lot have been either tested or inspected as directedin this specification and requirements have been met.The product shall be separated by size,composition, and temper and prepared for shipment in such amanner as to acceptance by common carrier for transportationand to afford protection from normal hazards of transportation.Each shipping unit shall be legiblymarked with the purchase order number，copper designation,temper，size, shape,total length or piece count or both,grossand net weight, and name of supplier.
