In such case, the natureof the facilities needed to satisfy the inspector, representing the purchaser，that the product is being furnished in accordancewith the specification shall be included in the agreement. Alltesting and inspection shall be conducted so as not to interfereunnecessarily with the operation of the works.
When mutually agreed upon,the manufacturer orsupplier and the purchaser shall conduct the final inspectionsimultaneously.
Product that fails to conform to the specification requirements when tested by the purchaser or purchaser’s agentshall be subject to rejection.Rejection shall be reported to the manufacturer orsupplier promptly. In addition, a written notification of rejec-tion shall follow.In case of dissatisfaction with results of the test uponwhich rejection is based, the manufacturer or supplier shallhave the option to make claim for a rehearing.As a result of product rejection, the manufacturer orsupplier shall have the option to make claim for a retest to beconducted by the manufacturer supplier and the purchaser.Samples of the rejected product shall be taken in accordancewith this specification and subject to test by both parties usingthe test method(s) specified in this specification，oralternatively, upon agreement of both parties, an independentlaboratory may be selected for the test(s) using the testmethod(s) specified in this specification.ASTM B88 pdf download.
