1 Scope
This Standard specifies the requirements for the design and testing of fall-arrest devices which travelalong a fixed or flexible anchorage line, and those which unreel an anchorage line.

4Conforming fall-arrest devices
The fall-arrest device shall conform to at least one of the standards listed under primary function inTable 1 and, where applicable, at least one of the standards listed under secondary function. In addition,textile line components ofall arrest devices shall meetthe light degradation performance requirementsof AS/NZS 1891.1.
