BS 5191 This British Standard defines terms used in the planning,execution and control of manufacturingoperations for communication between staff in the manufacturing sector. It includes terms relevant tointernal operation and terms used in procurement.
This British Standard also defines some of the terms used in the manufacturing sector when designingproducts, receiving materials, shipping goods, marketing goods and accounting for operations.However, itis not comprehensive in these fields and defines only terms considered important to operational staff.
